Medication Dosing

Acetaminophen and ibuprofen dosing chart – It is most accurate to calculate doses base on weight. Do not give ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil) to babies under 6 months or acetaminophen (Tylenol) to babies under 2 months without checking with your healthcare provider first.

Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) dosing chart – It is more accurate to calculate doses based on weight. Do not give diphenhydramine (Benadryl) to babies under 12 months without instructions from your healthcare provider since it can be sedating.
