Ronald Fischler, MD

Born and raised in Boston, Dr. Fischler is board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Fischler is a graduate of Harvard College and Dartmouth and Harvard Medical Schools. He completed resident training in Pediatrics at Tufts New England Medical Center and the University of Colorado, where he completed a fellowship in Child Development and Behavior. After serving with the Indian Health Service, he was Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Family Medicine at the University of Arizona, where he won awards for teaching and community service and published numerous scientific papers.

Subsequently, he became Director of Outpatient Pediatrics at Children’s Health Center of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Director of the Center for Child Abuse Prevention, and Medical Director for the Central Arizona Child Evaluation Center.

In 1988 he opened this office for the private practice of pediatrics, and has been consistently recognized by Phoenix Magazine as one of the "Top Doc" and by “Best Doctors in America”. He has served as Chairman of Pediatrics and as President of the Medical Staff of Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Hospital and as President of the Az Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Fischler has been married to Lory (a leadership consultant) for over 40 years and is a proud parent of two young adults.
