Lisa Engel, MD

Dr. Lisa Engel was born and raised in Southern California.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California Irvine where she studied Biology and Psychology,then continued her studies there in medical school. Her residency was completed at Children's Hospital Los Angeles where she was honored for her work in child advocacy program focused on educating minority children and their families about asthma.

Dr. Engel is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She moved to Arizona and joined North Scottsdale Pediatrics in 2005.

Dr. Engel is married to Dr. Richard Engel, a pediatrician who works as a hospitalist at Phoenix Children's Hospital.  They have two children, Melissa and Matthew. Together they enjoy cooking, traveling, and music.
