Jennifer Caplan, MD

Dr. Jennifer Caplan is originally from western Michigan and spent her childhood in Washington state and northeast Texas. She is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

After graduating from the University of Texas in Austin, Dr. Caplan attended medical school at Tufts University in Boston. There, she was an active member of the American Medical Women's Association, and recipient of several awards, including the New England Pediatric Society Award. She also participated in research in the field of Infectious Disease. Her pediatric training was completed at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 2003 where she received the Curnen Award for compassion and skill in pediatrics.

Dr. Caplan enjoys hiking, needlework, and bird watching. She has also been active in community choirs since college and continues to dabble in piano. She speaks Spanish. Her husband, Michael, is a professor in the bioengineering department at Arizona State University.
