Adrienne Kurland, MD
We are so excited to announce Adrienne Kurland, MD has joined our growing practice. Dr.
Kurland is board certified in pediatrics, and board eligible in internal medicine. She will help us
grow our adolescent medicine program, so our teenagers and young adults can experience
continuity of care with a practice that knows them well.
Dr. Kurland received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
from Northwestern University. For the next four years she worked as a Health Educator for
Chicago Health Corps/AmeriCorps and Development Manager for Chicago Cares - a not-forprofit
organization focused on educational, health and wellness services to children and adults.
Dr. Kurland received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, while
working as a Clinical Research Associate at the University. She completed her Residency in
Pediatrics and Medicine here at Banner Good Samaritan/Phoenix Children's Hospital. Dr.
Kurland continued as Chief Internal Medicine Resident at Banner Good Samaritan.
After her residency programs, Dr. Kurland was a member of the medical staff at Carl T. Hayden
VA Medical Center. Despite her challenging work as a hospitalist Dr. Kurland recognized her
love of pediatrics and is thrilled to be joining our group.
Adrienne is a mom of two - Jonah who is almost three, and Maia who is almost one, so she
walks her pediatric talk! She and her husband, Brett, live near Desert Ridge where she enjoys
hiking, literature, travel, community service and advocacy. We're honored to have her.
Join us in welcoming Dr. Adrienne Kurland!
